About the Project
UBT in collaboration with Vivekananda Cultural Center, organized a 2 days’ workshop titled "Cross-Cultural Groove" at the Vivekananda Cultural Center. The workshop aimed to bring together musicians and music enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds to explore and celebrate the musical traditions of Singeli and Indian music. The workshop provided participants with the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and create unique musical fusions.

Objectives The main objectives of the workshop are as follows: a) To foster cross-cultural understanding and appreciation of Singeli and Indian music. b) To provide participants with an interactive and immersive experience of rhythm in music. c) To encourage collaboration, creativity, and the exploration of musical fusion. d) To create a platform for participants to showcase their collaborative musical pieces. e) To facilitate reflection and learning through sharing experiences and insights gained during the workshop.
